Mr and Mrs Smith are a charming, cheeky and charismatic Duo with a mission to entertain and impress. Band leader Serge Le Goueff (playing Saxophones, Clarinet, Flute, and vocals) surrounds himself with Australia's leading jazz singers and instrumentalists to produce shows performing under the now familiar name "Mr and Mrs Smith".
These performers are the ultimate professionals who execute an artillery of styles including classy Jazz, smooth Soul, sultry Motown as well as popular contemporary tunes.
Serge is an international Jazz artist who has performed in Jazz Festivals around the world for over three decades. He performs on all four saxophones (Tenor, Alto, Soprano and Baritone) as well as Flute, Clarinet, and vocals. His singing brings the fun out of the box. At ease with the Frank Sinatra classics, Serge's main influences are Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole and George Benson.
Together Serge and his "Jazz cats" are “Mr & Mrs Smith”. They perform regularly in festivals, at weddings, hotels, restaurants, private and corporate events, accompanied by a variety of rhythm section players ranging from pianist, guitarists to bass players and drummers, which allow them to remain fresh from performance to performance.
